''I'm still alive'' update :P

Hello there! Hope 2021 is a bit better already for y'all!
Just wanted to update my journal to say that I'm still alive lol It hasn't been easy for reasons the whole world knows and also my country is complete chaos, my computer died a lot of times last year, I hyperfixated in some things to try to keep a bit of sanity which helped a lot but some of them (Supernatural to be more specific) made things worse *laughs in pain* so it was hard to be inspired to create art...
But!!! This year my dA acc turns 10yo (!!!!!!!) and it's also the 25th anniversary of both my favorite video game franchises (RE and TR) so I really wanna try to come back to rendering more often! 
Plus Lara's bday is just around the corner so I'll try my best to celebrate it with something new!
Well this is it just wanted to say that I'm still here and I hope everyone's doing well despite the circumstances.

posting this as a journal so it is fixed on my profile (or not idk I have no idea how dA works anymore lol)
but anyways... as I was starting to get some inspiration back and was even starting to render again, [nsync voice] gueeeess whaaaat 🎵 my computer died!))))))))))
it's the graphics card that died actually, I mean obviously amirite *laughs nervously* it'll take a while for me to get a new one cause it's expansive af so yeah... when you think this year couldn't get any worse...
just updating why I'll be gone even longer...
(I'll be on twitter and tumblr tho as always *sigh*)
may we all somehow survive this hell of a year

GUESS WHO'S BACK IN BLACK?!?! I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me IT IS I, THE JAY! 
For this year I promised myself I'd do better than last year and post at least one render every month, so I wouldn't go months without touching Blender again but then.......... like mid march my PC decided its time on this earth was over and boom it died.....
as the poor full time student that I am, it took some time to be able to replace the burnt parts BUT MY BABY IS NOW BACK TO THE PLANE OF THE LIVING!!1 
For this year I promised myself I'd do better than last year and post at least one render every month, so I wouldn't go months without touching Blender again but then.......... like mid march my PC decided its time on this earth was over and boom it died.....
as the poor full time student that I am, it took some time to be able to replace the burnt parts BUT MY BABY IS NOW BACK TO THE PLANE OF THE LIVING!!1 I'm currently on vacations yaaaaaaaay and hopefully I'll get rid of some stuff on my wip folder hahaha I've been itching to render again SOON I SHALL BE BACK ON TRACK!

Hello there! 
- Mass Effect
So... besides college soaking up my time lately, the other reason my pile of wips is still well... a pile, is Mass Effect!!! I know I'm arriving 2458026 years late with starbucks but... better late than never, amirite?! I'm already so freaking in love with this franchise!! First bc I have this umm problem~ where I can't casually like stuff, you know... >.> And second bc the games have this rich story full of details that add depth to everything and everyone and it just drags you into it bc it'S SO GOOD you can't leave it and gDI I'm really in love!!
I'm in the middle of ME2 rn and holy crap it's sO AWESOME!!1 I really really loved ME1 and all the pain it brought me too bc you know... Virmire... [muffled weeping] but I love my Shepard so freaking mu-huh-huh-huh-ch!!!!11 [more weeping] I MEAN LOOKIT HER:
As my friend Alli wisely said: Shepard is our space amazon queen!! :bademoticon: She's definitely on my top list of fav characters already! :bademoticon:
Story wise, I just love everything about it! I love how we can get to know details about the family of that one random character in the crowd of one mission in one far far away planet, like... it's just so amazing!! Maybe bc I'm fairly new to this style of game but also bc like... I just wish I could know the bdays of the Resident Evil characters and in ME I'm getting to know all these details so I'm in awe rn!
Romance wise... wEL L ... I felt in love with Ashley at first sight and when my friend told me I couldn't romance her, I could literally feel the floor under me collapse.
#foreverbitter And even before I started ME2, I had my eyes on Miranda too but gUESS WHAT 
But that's what mods and replays are for amirite?! 
And I do love Kaidan, I really do, don't get me wrong (I'll romance the hell outta him in ME3) but I confess I was kinda bitter with the fact I couldn't romance Ash and it was all too "he's the man, you're the woman, you gotta romance", you feel me? =/ So I waited... And went with Liara, who is really cute btw! And then Horizon happened and lmao my heart it's still in a million pieces and I'll never recover from that! 
Oh and Samara dumped me too so h aHA hA ha 
Here's to a luckier love life in ME3! Anyways... yeah I'm in a ME hype rn and it won't end so soon so there'll obviously be renders in the future!!! And when I get ME3, I'll try extracting my Shep thanks to a tutorial I found so... lots of plans! :3

Tho with not as much free time as I used to have since college is draining all of it bUT at least now I'm settled in my new home and I have my PC back with internet!! 
I have some wips... (and new games to play!!!) Hope to be able to work on them soon! There shall be new uploads #soon!
